Опыт организации «Караван знаний» в развитии методики образования STEAM в Казахстане

В данной статье рассматривается позиция ученых, которые считают STEAM образование важным фактором экономического роста. На основе сочетания качественных и количественных методов исследования была определена роль, значение и инициативы образовательной организации «Караван знаний», спонсируемой компанией Chevron по развитию STEAM-образования в Казахстане, а также изучены подходы учителей школ к данному подходу. Были проанализированы различные инициативы и мероприятия, направленные на повышение уровня знаний и компетентности учителей-предметников в области STEAM и на содействие развитию STEAM-образования с момента создания «Каравана знаний». Был проведен учебный курс, направленный на повышение уровня знаний преподавателей по дисциплинам STEAM, а по окончании курса посредством анкетирования и интервью были собраны и систематизированы мнения преподавателей. В соответствии с «Дорожной картой по развитию и внедрению STEAM-образования в Казахстане на 2021–2025 годы» образовательная организация «Караван знаний» инициировала меры, стратегии по разработке, а также внедрению STEAM в образовательный процесс. В настоящее время организация активно проводит курсы, конкурсы и фестивали, направленные на обучение учителей STEAM-методам обучения и развитие интереса обучающихся к STEAM-технологиям. Исследование показало, что профессиональная подготовка преподавателей STEAM в университете необходима.
